Grief never ends, but it changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It's the price of love. Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. (Anonymous) Like Tony told Toby when his dad passed away, "Death is hardest only on the living"!! Joan, Berkley, Blaine, and Stephanie Knight: we are praying for you during this difficult time of grief and may you all find comfort down the road. For those of us who thought of Tony as family, we have comfort in the MANY memories and laughter we shared with him. May you all find the comfort in your memories shared with him as you get through this difficult time. The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained. How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.....he will be missed tremendously!

Still can't believe this is happening. Tony was a larger than life person that conquered everything. I've known him almost my entire life. From peewee baseball, playing for Westwood Heights, where his and my father, Mr. Blaine, coached us (yes, we did win that championship outright!), through elementary, middle, and high school, all the way til the day the Lord decided it was time to bring him home. It's just a tough thing to understand. Since Tony was a lyricist. I will let my final words be these from the song, "Not even the trees." Won't you tell me Does He realize He came down and He took you too soon.

- Carl "Buddy" Saxton, Eden, GA
